Past Updates

AUGUST 1, 2019
A brief non-acting career update: today is my one-year anniversary of my day job!! I love working for On The Stage and I highly, highly recommend checking it out if you’re a theatre maker. It’s an incredible company, full of amazing and passionate people, and I feel so lucky that I can be involved with the arts even outside of my own career.

JUNE 30, 2019
And just like that, the run has ended. Getting to work on Exit, Pursued by a Bear not only gave me a new theater company to work with and support—seriously, check out The Theater Project—but I’ve found a new love for the work of Lauren Gunderson. What an amazing experience this has been!! Thank you to everyone who I shared the stage with and who worked behind it. On to the next one!

JUNE 21, 2019
Another opening, another show! Happy opening to my cast and crew of Exit, Pursued by a Bear. I’ve loved every second of working on this show, and I’m so thankful that I got to take over bringing Sweetheart to life. Plus, I have a shotgun as a prop. Come on.

JUNE 8, 2019
What a wonderful closing night of Hi Tops it was. We had a lovely goodbye ceremony with the cast and crew, a great final show, and an amazing cast- and crew-wide karaoke night to celebrate! I will definitely never forget Ginny and everything I learned from her. I only have a week off before I go into tech for Exit, Pursued by a Bear though—and here’s where you can get tickets to that!

JUNE 5, 2019
I’ve officially picked back up shooting for Hope Never Dies, and it feels so good to be back. I really do have the best job in the world. I can’t wait to share this project with you!

MAY 20, 2019
It’s opening night for Hi Tops!! We’ve worked so hard on this cheesy, colorful, wonderful show, and I’m excited to share it with everyone. Happy opening to the cast and crew!!

MAY 18, 2019
I have the ticket link for Hi Tops everybody! You can find it on my Facebook and Instagram (and check out our awesome artwork while you’re at it), or you can click right here. It’s the hottest ticket in town, fer shurr!!

APRIL 15, 2019
More great news: I’ve been cast in a musical!! I’m spending this spring going back to high school—high school in the 80s, that is. The show is called Hi Tops and I play a student named Ginny, who wants nothing more than to have a friend (and to be talented enough to join her favorite band). We open at the end of May, so keep an eye out for a ticket link!

APRIL 11, 2019
Great news people—I’m in a play! I’ve been cast in an amazing play called Exit, Pursued by a Bear, by Lauren Gunderson. I’ll be playing Sweetheart/Peaches, a wannabe actress and interim stripper, who helps her friend Nancy leave her abusive husband Kyle in a delightfully macabre way. I’ll post the ticket link here when I get it!

FEBRUARY 19, 2019
Just got sent the sizzle reel for Fine China from the Robson Brothers! The footage looks great, and it reminded me how much fun I had working with everyone. I can’t wait to be back on set to shoot the full script!

FEBRUARY 11, 2019
Back in the workshop room! I’ve been cast in a workshop of the new play Independencia o Muerte!, by the wonderful playwright Michael Narvaez. I get to help tell the absolutely unbelievable story of Puerto Rico’s struggle for independence from the perspective of a young Laura Meneses de Albizu Campos. I’m honored to help tell this story, and I can’t wait to see where this show goes!

JANUARY 1, 2019
Happy new year!!!! 2018 was a wild ride, but I definitely did some growing and I feel very ready for 2019. May you all experience growth, joy, and love in this new year and every one that follows. Thanks for joining me on my journey!

DECEMBER 9, 2018
Spent today on set with one of my best friends Anna Clare Kerr for one of my favorite projects EVER. I’m so excited for you guys to see the work, but I don’t want to say what the project is or who I am just yet. I will say this though: you’ll get a pretty good hint if you check out my media page…

SEPTEMBER 24, 2018
It’s just about 2am here in New York, and I just got home from shooting Dead Air. I had a wonderful time working with the cast and crew, and an even better time hanging out in the awesome car they got for us—go check out my Instagram for some serious rock ‘n’ roll vibes! I can’t wait to see the final product.

SEPTEMBER 16, 2018
Just got some of the most exciting news I’ve ever gotten as an actor. Can’t wait to share it with everyone!!!

AUGUST 8. 2018
Back into the world of horror I go! I've been cast in a new horror short called Dead Air. I'll be playing Carla, a punk who's too cool for scary stories until it's too late. You'll get updates as I do, but for now, I can't wait to get started!

AUGUST 2, 2018
It was a wonderful run, but all good things must come to an end. Tonight was our last performance of A Hand Across the Bridge, and let me tell you, I had such an amazing time sharing the stage with this cast. Carrie will live in my heart forever--and she'll live in the real world for a couple more weeks too, because I've been asked to do a reading of another play in this series as Carrie! It's happening at El Barrio's Artspace as part of Identity Theater Company's 2018 reading series, Self Deception. This time, I'm less wild party girl and more democratic party girl--come see us to find out more. $10 cash at the door!

JULY 13, 2018
Today is the day!! A Hand Across the Bridge opens tonight at the Flamboyan Theatre downtown. I'm extremely proud to be working with this cast, and I cannot wait to share this story with you all. If nothing else, come for the speech I make to a room of partygoers at the end of my senior year of college--it's one for the books. Get your tickets here!!

JULY 8, 2018
Happy opening to the tenth annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity!! My play A Hand Across the Bridge performed a 5-minute cut of our play at the opening night party tonight, and we had a great time seeing all the other performances as well. I can't believe we open on Friday!! Get your tickets here, and (if you can!) use the code "tenthplanet" to get an extra $5 off!

JUNE 15, 2018
It's kickball time, y'all!! Next Saturday, June 23rd, the cast and crew of A Hand Across the Bridge is hosting a charity kickball event in Central Park. We'll have baked goods, a raffle, and of course, a giant kickball game where the teams will be New York versus The World--divided up by where you went to college, of course. Here's the Facebook page for the event. I'd love to see you there!!

MAY 21, 2018
I have another Kickstarter for you guys! As part of the PCTF my play is premiering in, each production partners with a charity of their choosing to raise money for. A Hand Across the Bridge has decided to raise money for the Cohen Esophageal Cancer Initiative. This Kickstarter will help us make the production the best it can be, so we can raise as much money as possible for this incredible charity. Click here to give to our Kickstarter, and keep an eye out for a ticket link and more promotional stuff! PS--I'm running the official Instagram page for the show, and that is something you definitely don't want to miss out on.

MAY 7, 2018
I just finished a day on set for Fine China! We didn't quite raise all the money we needed, but in the true spirit of both show business and the restaurant business, we figured out a way to make it work. The script was adapted and it's now become a teaser trailer for future fundraising efforts. I had a great day on set with the cast and crew, and I look forward to what comes next for the little band of misfits at the Fine China restaurant!

APRIL 28, 2018
New work alert!! I've just been cast in a new production, called A Hand Across the Bridge. It premieres as part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity this summer. I play a college senior named Carrie, a fun-loving party host who loves to be the center of attention--a real stretch for me. ;] Keep an eye out for more updates and details!

APRIL 22, 2018
What a weekend I had! I've spent the last two days on set filming for Hope Never Dies, and it was more incredible than I thought it would be. I truly cannot wait to share this with you all. Make sure to check out my social media over the next few weeks, because I will most definitely be posting pictures of me looking awesome. Thanks to everyone at Soul Lens productions for being wonderful and for making one of my dreams come true. Themyscira forever!

APRIL 11, 2018
It's crowdfunding time!! If you haven't been on my social media lately, the Kickstarter for my new project Fine China has just gone live. I've shared it everywhere I can, and I intend to keep doing so until this project gets funded. I had a blast at the table read and I cannot wait to work with this wacky group of people. Spread the word, donate, and check out the video--you might see me giving a sneak peak of my sassy character Jade! :]

MARCH 6, 2018
Mark your calendars! I was just informed that my episode of Evil Lives Here on the ID Channel airs this Sunday, March 11th at 9pm. Crank the volume and scare your neighbors with the horrified scream that the AD called "one of the best he's ever heard"! Once it's aired, you can stream it on the ID website here. Please enjoy the dress I'm wearing, because I sure did. It had pockets.

FEBRUARY 25, 2018
Ground Control to Major Tom--there's another short film on the horizon! This time it's an interesting little film called Ground Control that explores the relationship between a man and woman when the man has a rather unique idea. We shoot sometime in the next few weeks, so be ready for some production stills and lots of David Bowie references.

FEBRUARY 21, 2018
I finally get to put my years of waitressing to good use! I've been cast in a short film called Fine China, as a sassy waitress named Jade. The film has a beautiful message, and I'm really excited to get to bring it to life. I'll let you know when I start filming!

FEBRUARY 10, 2018
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I have been cast as Artemis the Amazon in a brilliant new web series called Hope Never Dies. I'll tell you more about it as the project gets closer to shooting, but for now, know that I get to spend the next two months PLAYING WITH SWORDS and basically living out one of my dreams. Keep an eye out for pictures on my social media pages!!

JANUARY 12, 2018
Happy new year everyone!! I'm proud to say that I'm starting 2018 by moving up in the world--I spent today filming another show called Evil Lives Here, another show on ID, and this time I was murdered!! So thankful for everyone who's helped me make the leap from hooker to victim, and special shoutout to the AD for telling me I had a scream so amazing it scared the whole crew. Can't wait to be back on set with everyone soon!!

DECEMBER 11, 2017
Lucky for me, my wish came true pretty quick--I just got back from another day of filming with the crew of Grave Secrets! I seem to have become the resident Prostitute In A Vulnerable Position for the ID channel, and I kind of love it. This time it's for a show called Evil Talks. I also can't help but feel lucky to be on set with such wonderful, hardworking people again. Here's to the next time, guys!

DECEMBER 6, 2017
Remember that cryptic post from May? I can officially tell you--I was in last night's episode of Grave Secrets on Investigation Discovery! I had an awesome time on set, especially thanks to the tacos they gave us for dinner. I look forward to working with everyone again soon. Check out a clip in my reel, the pictures on my media page, and watch the episode here!

OCTOBER 17, 2017
Happy birthday to me! I rang in my birthday this year sitting on the roof of my beautiful new apartment looking out at my perfect view of the Manhattan skyline, feeling more loved and ready for life than I think I ever have. Watch out world, here comes 24 year old me!

JULY 30, 2017
And thus ends the official run of DIBS in the NY Summerfest. I spent quite a long time working with this cast (our first rehearsal was in March!), and I'm going to miss everybody a lot. Hopefully I can work with all of you soon. For now, onward!

JULY 25, 2017
We open DIBS tonight! I've had so much fun working (and hanging out) with this cast, and I'm really excited to share the work we've done. Not to mention the space is gorgeous. So make sure you get out to the Hudson Guild Theatre tonight, tomorrow, and Saturday to see us!! Get tickets here.

JULY 7, 2017
People my people! I hope you all had a lovely June. I've been auditioning up a storm and--get this--I went camping for the first time ever. It was lovely being out in the woods with no service for a week, but now I'm back and ready to jump right back in. Starting with reminding you about DIBS! That's my project for the NY Summerfest competition. We open in just a couple of weeks, and you do not want to miss out!! I'm the female lead and trust me guys, things get crazy. Get tickets here.

MAY 25, 2017
I just got back from a phenomenal day on set in Queens. Can't wait to show everyone the pictures--but you'll have to wait a little while to see them ;]

APRIL 24, 2017
Whoa--almost forgot to tell you guys I'm in another show!! This weekend is the world premiere of Cheesecake, by the fiercely brilliant and brilliantly fierce Nadia Asencio. I get to play manager in a restaurant where one woman seems hell-bent on making my life miserable. Come out and see us, and make sure to vote for us for best play! Get tickets here.

APRIL 6, 2017
Hello from on set!! I'm in the faraway land of New Jersey right now, shooting a short film called Evil Is Here. A quick and spooky little project that I'm really enjoying working on. Keep an eye out for production pictures--you'll never guess what happens to my character Jenn! (Spoiler alert: nothing good.)

APRIL 3, 2017
Another show opened and closed. I am deeply grateful that I was a part of this production, and that I got to spend the last month in the rehearsal room working with these immensely talented actors. I want to thank each actor I shared the stage with from the bottom of my heart, as you have each helped me grow into my own and grow as an artist. Can't wait to be in another show with you all!!

MARCH 30, 2017
Opening night guys!!! Get your tickets!!! The Complete Theatre Company presents Power of the Sexes (My show is Thursday night at 8, Saturday night at 8, and Sunday afternoon at 2. But I'm sure the other cast is awesome too so come see both!! Did I mention you can drink in the theatre? As my wonderful castmate Clinton says, we're much funnier when you're buzzed.)

MARCH 14, 2017
The ticket link for my TCTC show Power of the Sexes is here!! Follow this link for tickets and more info. I'm really proud of the work I'm doing with this cast, and I'd really love it if you came by. Also I got an official, personalized press release for this show that I got to send out and that felt pretty awesome.

FEBRUARY 25, 2017
I'm in another show y'all!! I've been cast in a brand-new show that will appear as part of the New York City Summerfest Competition. It's called DIBS!, and I seriously cannot wait to get started. The script is wacky and fun, but deals with some stuff that hits really close to home. The show goes up at the end of July. Don't worry, you'll have all the important dates and links as soon as I do. Onward we go!

FEBRUARY 20, 2017
I am very excited to announce that not only have I been cast in a show, but in doing so I have joined a truly wonderful community of artists. I am now a proud member of The Complete Theatre Company, and I'll be performing in their new work Power of the Sexes at the beginning of April! More info to come soon. I can't wait to start rehearsals!

JANUARY 1, 2017
Happy new year to everyone! Last year was the first time ever that I gave myself three resolutions to accomplish, and I managed two and a half of them. This year, I'm giving myself one resolution to permeate everything I do: I'm making 2017 the Year of Me. I'm going to re-dedicate myself to doing the things I feel are right, and telling the stories I feel need to be told. I will settle for nothing less than putting my full effort and my full heart into everything I do. So love to all, and here's to 2017!

NOVEMBER 28, 2016
It's been quite a month for me personally. I've done a lot of self-reflection, re-evaluated some things, and clarified the things I want to be focusing on. I'm starting work on a couple new personal projects, and I feel really good about the kinds of things I want to do moving forward. To me, this is a phenomenal time to be an artist--I have countless things to say, and I am humbled and grateful to be a part of a community where I am free to say everything I want to. It is truly time to get to work.

NOVEMBER 4, 2016
Tonight I had the second and final performance of Sacred City Alive!, a new musical. It was a delight getting to work on this show, even if only for a short time. I got to play the Mayor of New York City--I imagine my 90-minute portrayal of that job was much less stressful than the real thing, but I was honored to do it nonetheless. I'm actually going to be taking a brief break from performing, to head to Mexico for a family wedding and celebrate Thanksgiving with my family. See you all when I'm a little more tan!

OCTOBER 30, 2016
Happy almost Halloween!! Today I closed Pickup, which was the short play I did as part of the MITF's Short Play Lab. I had a great time working on this little beauty, and had the pleasure of working with some great people. I also have more news--while I've been rehearsing Pickup, I've also been rehearsing for a reading of a new musical called Sacred City Alive! We perform at St Malachy's and The Lamb's Club this week, just before I go to Mexico for a family wedding in a week. More updates soon!!

OCTOBER 11, 2016
What a great day! I just wrapped on my day of shooting for In Character, and I had a great time. The location was beautiful and it was a lovely day outside, and I had a great time with the cast and crew. I had the pleasure of doing my scene with an awesome actor named Moses Ruperto. (Turns out he's as good a visual artist as he is an actor; click his name to see his work!) I can't wait to see the finished product. And I'm still in rehearsals for Pickup, so keep an eye out for an update on that!

SEPTEMBER 23, 2016
Good news: I can now officially update you on the vague post from a few weeks ago. Two exciting things have happened, actually: I have been cast in a faith-based indie film called In Character, shooting in the next couple weeks, AND at the end of October I'll be performing in a short play called Pickup as part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival's Short Play Lab! Both of these projects deal with things very near and dear to my heart, and I'm so proud to be a part of them. More info about the film and the play coming soon!

SEPTEMBER 2, 2016
Intentionally vague, very short post: good things are happening, everyone.

AUGUST 24, 2016
Back in that #setlife, everyone! I spent today shooting a short film called Hidden for a lovely student of the New York Film Academy's 8-week summer intensive. Even though it was just a day-long shoot, I had a great time working with everyone and I'm really excited about the end product. Turns out New York is a beautiful place to shoot a film. Who knew?

JULY 31, 2016
Well, we've just finished striking the set for Fulton Square. It's been a hectic two weeks, full of late-night rehearsals and tech and in-depth discussions of faith and miracles in today's world (the basis of the play). It was truly an honor to perform this beautiful play with everyone involved, and I am forever grateful to them for welcoming me into their community. I can't wait to see what wonderful things everyone will do in the future. For now, back to NYC!

JULY 17, 2016
I've just arrived in Maryland to work on What Happened at Fulton Square. There's so much nature here! But I'm so excited to meet everyone, and to share the stage again with the phenomenal, multi-talented Conor Perkins. It's going to be a wonderful two weeks! If you're in Maryland, be sure to grab your tickets here.

JUNE 9, 2016
I'm thrilled to officially announce that I'll be spending the last two weeks of July in Maryland, as a part of The Shadow Players' original production What Happened at Fulton Square! The Shadow Players are a wonderful group of people, and I'm honored to be a part of their summer show. I'll be sharing more info with you as it gets closer to the production. Learn more about The Shadow Players here, and check out a little interview I did with them here!

JUNE 7, 2016
It's happened, everyone!! I finally got new headshots! It's been two years in the making, and I'm so excited to start using them. I got these taken with the wonderful Amanda and Jake at Sub/Urban Photography. If you're in the market for headshots, I highly recommend them! Be sure to check out their website (click their name above). Anyway, once I've gotten them retouched, I'll be updating my website with all of them. I'm so excited!!

MARCH 6, 2016
Well, it's 1:15am, but we've officially just wrapped for The Casket! I had an amazing time creating this short, and was honestly blessed to have such incredible people to work with. Very excited to share it with you guys--stay tuned for production pictures!

FEBRUARY 12, 2016
It's opening night for A Sketch of New York! Shows are tonight and tomorrow. I'm in the 10pm show, but there are three separate casts and they're all hilarious. Grab a drink or two at the bar inside The Producer's Club, then come watch us be funny! I'm dedicating my performance to my sister Megan; today's her 20th birthday. She's a pretty cool chick.

FEBRUARY 7, 2016
Happy Superbowl, everyone! As if I needed something more to celebrate, today I was cast as a lead role in a student film called The Casket for the School of Visual Arts. I even get to co-star with my friend from school (and superstar barre3 instructor) Caitlyn Ziobro. We shoot next month in, believe it or not, my hometown in Rhode Island, and I cannot wait to get started.

JANUARY 5, 2016
Today, the theatre world lost a brilliant mind and a beautiful soul. I was blessed enough to work consistently with Liz Swados for two years, and she truly helped to make me the actor I am today. Rest in peace, Liz.

NOVEMBER 28, 2015
I closed a production of The Dreaming, a musical based on A Midsummer Night's Dream at The Chain Theatre in Long Island City! Insanely beautiful music by Howard Goodall, and an amazing cast and creative team. I was beyond proud to be a part of this show.

AUGUST 17, 2015
Performed an original work by Jenny Carlson as part of Stir-Crazy Measures: A Smorgasbord of New Works, a night of entirely new works with my theatre company, The Joust Theatre Company! A night full of fun, laughs, and good-looking people.

you made it! please enjoy this picture of an owl looking at a leaf.
